Registration and Drop-off/Pick-up Info

Seller/Volunteer Registration

Registration is open until Sunday Sept. 24 at 11:59pm. Registrations will be processed in the order received and I will aim to respond within 24 hrs with your confirmation.

We accept tags from other sales. Email to see if your code is available. You do NOT have to be a seller in order to volunteer!

Seller Agreement

In order to participate in the Decatur Consignment Sale, please read and acknowledge your acceptance of the following Terms of Agreement:

I agree not to hold Decatur Consignment Sale, Decatur United Methodist Church, or any volunteer worker responsible for damage, theft, or loss of items being sold at the Decatur Consignment Sale.

I agree that all items with prices not circled in RED will be sold for half-price on Saturday.

I understand that tags must be completed properly and attached securely. I give permission for Decatur Consignment Sale to assign a reasonable price and sell any item I have tagged without a price. 

I understand that items without tags or missing codes will be sold at the discretion of Decatur Consignment Sale once efforts have been made to find lost tags.

I understand items not picked up between the hours of 7:30pm - 8:30pm on Saturday September 30, 2017 will be donated.
I have not dropped off items that have been recalled.

I understand that I must meet minimum requirements of 30+ sellable items OR items valued at $100 or more to attend the Pre-sale.

I will receive 65% of my total sales minus $6 registration fee.

I understand that my proceeds will be mailed by check approximately 2 weeks after the sale. I will cash this check within 60 days of receipt.

Volunteers only:
I will receive between 75-80% of my total sales minus $6 registration fee.

I understand that if I fail to report for a volunteer shift, $15 per shift will be deducted from my check.

Drop-off and Pick-up

In order to have a quick and speedy check-in, please read the information below.

Before arriving at Drop-off

  • Please review our guidelines on the  seller info
  • All Sellers who bring non-clothing items need to leave a laundry basket at drop-off. If you plan to donate your items, please bring a large box. These will be used for sorting unsold items. Securely tape an 8.5x11 piece of paper to the outside of the basket/box with your seller code in LARGE letters.
  • Plan for your drop-off appointment to take 15-30 minutes, depending on how many items you are selling.
  • Sort clothing by size and gender. Use twist ties or tie plastic grocery bags around the hangers to separate.
  • Double check that all items have tags and that all tags are filled out completely.
Drop-off Instructions
  • Upon arrival, please check in and bring in your items.
  • A volunteer will inspect your items.
  • Sellers who wish to attend our Preveiw Sale must bring 30 plus sellable items or items totaling $100 or more.

Pick-up Instructions

Pick-up is Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 7:30pm - 8:30pm

Sellers have the option of picking up their unsold items. Items not picked up will be donated.

  • You may be asked to show identification at pick-up.
  • If someone else will pick up your items, please make note of that on the Seller Agreement. They may be asked to show identification at pick-up as well.
  • Please take time to look through the lost and found area before you leave. This area is for items that have lost their tags. All unclaimed items will be donated.
  • Because our time in the building is limited, all items remaining at pick-up end will be donated. We appreciate your punctuality and understanding.

Getting Paid

Seller checks will be mailed approximately 2 weeks after the sale. Please make sure your address is correct on the seller agreement form during check-in. Checks are mailed directly from the bank and will not have "Decatur Consignment" on the envelope.
